Bubble Buddies

Some Pattern ideas for my Illustration for Consumer Products Class (which I'm loving). We were asked to come up with a name for the collection so you know...  Bubble Buddies :P

Children's Book Illustration II.- "Fun Time at the Laundry Room"

First illustration of this new semester!!! The idea came up using a bunch of words that were given to me by one of my classmates! It was fun but let me tell you a secret: it was one of the most difficult assignments for me :)
Can you guess the word that I used??? I'll give you a hint:

So I asked my classmate the following questions:

-If you were an animal what would you be?
-An activity you don't like to do?
-One word (adjective) describing your personality?

My Great Excuses and Spring Show

I had an awesome semester at  school!!! My favorite class was Children's Book 1
I want to thanks Julie Downing for all the encouragement in her class, she is one of the best teachers I have ever had! Above are the two double spread illustrations I did as my final assignment based on small rhymes of a poem  called All My Great Excuses by Kenn Nesbitt. the two rhymes I illustrated were:

-My mother ran my homework
through the washer and the dryer…

-A pirate swiped my homework
and refused to give it back…

I am also very excited because this semester 2 of my Illustrations where chosen to be part of the AAU 2013 Spring Show which showcase the best of the work done by the students. The two pieces that got into the show are:

-Listen!
-B is for BarBear

I've posted this images before but here they are again! ha ha ha  I have to be honest I'm really proud of myself!

Listen!

Illustration done for  Children's Book Class. The name of the poem is Listen! and the author is Lilian Moore. I had a lot of fun with this piece.

Here's the Poem:

Listen!  Listen to the Witch.  Grinch, grinch, grunch, chip-chop-crunch, grickle, grackle, grooble, grooble, munch, munch, munch.  Whatever in the world is she having for lunch?
